I went to Chicago for the first time this weekend and I found the quote above on a t-shirt at the Art Institute of Chicago. At first I was unsure about Chicago, the first day I was like “I feel like I’m in Toronto. I don’t feel anything.” I was a little bummed since I had felt so much while I was in New York. The days that followed were better though, I felt relaxed and I took in the beauty that is Chicago. I finally appreciated that it felt like home but with even more amazing architecture. I love how the buildings are so spread out and yet everything is connected. The weather was amazing too, I love wind.

I took a lot more pictures but these are probably my favourite. It was a great trip and I will definitely be going back to Chicago some time. Here’s a list of places that I went, if you’re going to the Windy City I totally recommend them!
