“You don’t need to capture the moment, you need to live it.”

*** WEEKEND RE-CAP! ***

Post title contributed by this lady;

Well my busy weekend is just about over (Thanksgiving #2 starting this afternoon) and I’m happy to say that I completely enjoyed my weekend. It all began with my cousin’s wedding…

Weddings are long, long days when you’re in a bridal party and by midnight I was wiped out! I did have a wonderful day though, the bridal party was great, the ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was a lot of fun. I have the best cousins in the world! Since my sister’s wedding in Dominican we’ve all gotten really close and I look forward to family functions because of them <3.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving day/dinner with my family, cousins, and the bf.

As usual, the day was filled with laughter, conversation, food, naps, and a few rebels ;)

Dinner was delicious and as I documented (Instagrammed) everything I thought about what my cousin had said earlier that day,You don’t need to capture the moment, you need to live it.’ I try my hardest to do both. I try to live in each moment and document it later – Instagram is great for capturing moments and a way to help me write about it later.

I am truly thankful for the ability to live and to write about it. I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my boyfriend, the in-laws, my puppy, books, health, and the ability to choose. Having the luxury if making choices and changes in life is a an amazing gift and I am thankful for it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, enjoy the last day of the long weekend!

Love Always
