You’re right, it’s not that funny BUT it’s true. I guess Alex and I are more like omnivores than carnivores but stop nitpicking will you?!
Thanks to Charming Media and Buytopia, Alex and I were able to try out their new deal with Le Commensal. It’s a completely vegetarian restaurant located in Toronto. This opportunity came at a PERFECT time! As you know, Alex got his gallbladder removed a few weeks back and he’s trying his best to stay away from fatty-foods and red meat (takes too long to digest).
And so, we gave Le Commensal a try!
The food was fresh, the veggies were cooked perfectly, and they have salt and pepper on the tables to suit your taste. As you can see we got a lot of food for $40.00 and with the deal from Buytopia you only pay $19.00! Le Commensal is great for a light snack, a lovely lunch, or a hearty dinner! And it caters to vegans and those with gluten allergies.
Did you see the desserts? The pecan brownie is fantastic, the chocolate cake is gluten- free and tastes amazing – not dry at all! The last dessert is the maple syrup pie and OMG please do your taste buds a favour and try it!
The fact that this place impressed my boyfriend (the carnivore) really shows you how good vegetarian cuisine can taste!
